Have Some Grace

Sometimes, Nancy, you gotta show some class. This may be one of those times.

"I remain dedicated to the ongoing fight for crime victims everywhere," Grace said in a statement to The Associated Press.

"Right now, our focus is on helping find baby Trenton Duckett safe and sound, and we will pursue the case until there is a resolution."

When did solving crimes become a role of our media?

Well, you see, when you know The Truth(tm) from the very beginning, like NewsHarpy Nancy does, solving crimes is a snap. She really ought to join the Justice League, or something.

When book deals became a part of the zeitgeist.

Does anyone else look at Nancy Grace and think she's capable of eating babies? That predatory look she gives to the camera always creeps me out.

(1) being certain you are a moral authority, (2) enjoying the celebrity and cult following that comes with having a bully pulpit, and(3)having an IQ that is at least average are all ingredients for a scary, dangerous person.

Don't forget the minions. You can't be truly dangerous without minions. For Exhibit A I give you Oprah. :-)

My guess is around the same time they started telling who was on trial and why they were presummed guilty, which politicians to elect and support, and that any form of media other than television is bad for you.

(4) Minions.

There is some truth to that, Jedi. People who are surrounded by "yes" men telling you how great you are leads to a real disconnect with reality, and causes people to lose their path.

At least that's what I heard.

Hmmmm ... what President could you be talking about? Wait, did I say President? Well, I guess I meant ... yeah President sounds about right!

Speaking about Presidents ... I'm surprised that you haven't posted about Clinton's big interview the other day and the bitch slappin' he was handing out. Oh wait, I mean the "pregnant dog slapping" he was handing out (i.e. WV Bloggers lingo).
