AOL Entertainment News reports that Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi, will star in a new wildlife series on the Discovery Kids channel called "Bindi: The Jungle Girl."
Says the 8-year-old daughter of the deceased Crocodile Hunter, during an interview on ABC:
"Some people think that I would be afraid of them, but I'm never ever afraid of an animal ."

The show was in the works before his death, so I don't think it is a big deal.
On the one hand, it's nice to see her carry on her dad's legacy. . . .
On the other hand, be afraid. Be very afraid.
Moneytastesbad: Yep, I know she was gonna co-star with her dad. My scream was about her comment. The show---ah, enjoy it and I hope it's fun--but, the comment just sounded odd, considering.
Isn't "Bindi" ancient aboriginal for "snack?"

I've never understood why people add danger to their lives. Why do people jump from airplanes? Why do people run with the bulls? And why in the hell would you wrestle crocodiles? Messing with wild animals will bring nothing but trouble. I would love to know how many people die from their "exotic" animals. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!
