I tend to enjoy a good British comedy, and think most are cracking. Benny Hill was ace and Shaun Of The Dead was blinding. Although you might think I'm blinkered--or even a bit barmy--, I thought Hot Fuzz was basically daft.
Watching it was my biggest cock up of the night.

I've tagged you for the six secret meme in my blog today. Hope you don't mind.
I was watching Monty Python with my ex while we were still living in England. A beach scene came on and I started cracking up because those were the whitest people I'd ever seen in a beach scene. He asked why I was laughing because there wasn't a joke going on. I explained. He said, "We're British: white skin, tan teeth."
Shaun of the Dead was brilliant. Hot Fuzz was... well... I was drunk by the end so I don't really remember it - which means the evening wasn't totally wasted (har har) - but I don't think I liked it much.
Was there another attempt at a British accent in this post somewhere :-p
I really enjoyed Hot Fuzz. I had the chance to see it at the cinema and it helps having an audience when you see a comedy. And lets face it, how many decent comedies are there these days?
Allclick: Thanks for getting it! I pulled out my English to British dictionary to get it done!
