I've been following this film hard. It looks like they've decided to use a rougher, calculating "Killing Joke" Joker, rather than the smoother, goofy psycho that Jack Nicholson played. Rumors are Two-face and The Riddler also put in some kind of small, but important appearance. It's going to rock.
I expect it to be great, too. When I was a kid hanging out in the back rooms of arcades playing D&D and talking comic books, we used to wish TV and movie technology would be great enough to put out a movie that would fit Batman. As happy as I was to see the modern Batman movie in the late 80s (with Nicholson), I really hated the way he did the Joker. And I hope The Dark Knight sets it back right.
