Superbad

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's hilarious 118 minute documentary depicting why my daughters will never leave the house.

This is good news for me--at least for another ten years, anyway.

After Napoleon Dynamite (which wasn't very funny at all), I was starting to think I was just too old to "get" kid movies anymore.

I was pretty relieved and pleasantly surprised to find that Superbad was just absolutely hysterical.

McLovin'!

It goes by fast, Hoyt!

I hear ya, Jenny. I think Superbad was more a reflection on kid-dom by geeks who eventually became successful adults. We all--geeks as kids or not--had over-dramatized perceptions of what the hell was going on in our lives at the time. So we can all relate to this movie.

Or, is it just me?

I'm with ya.

It helped that Michael Cera's character in this movie reminded me a lot of George Michael, and so I feel like I sort of got a little Arrested Development fix at the same time - which is always a good thing. :D

Speaking of which...

Awesome.
