Halle Berry stars as...
Oh, man. Forget it. I'm too tired to try, and the movie was too bad for me to make the effort.
Listen, my friend Hoyt and I have this theory that Bruce Willis can't make a bad movie. That somehow, Willis has this flick-dar that allows him the ability to sniff out and star in above average movies, even if the premise of his movie leaves a lot to be desired.
Hoyt, I'm sorry. But Perfect Stranger proves our theory wrong. Dead wrong. In fact, watching it through to the end made me feel a lot like this:
This time next year, Perfect Stranger will be in my Flashback! list. Guaranteed.

Hey, no apology necessary, Film Geek. As the Pats proved yesterday, nobody's perfect!
Hudson Hawk? Bonfire of the Vanities? Breakfast of Champions?
I'd say your theory has some holes in it! :-P
Oh, man, I knew it was only a matter of time before someone mentioned Bonfire of the Vanities. That's Bruce's worst. Actually, the whole movie is terribly miscast--Jeff Daniels was born to play Sherman.
I hear ya, JDB. And Hoyt, I almost gave up Bonfire in the post, 'cause I knew too that someone would bring it up. I agree with the miscasting, but I actually liked the film. As well as Hudson Hawk. Didn't see Breakfast of Champions...:)
I love Hudson Hawk! That's pure Willis gold.
I think you were forgetting to add the x factor into this Willis = great book formula. And that is Halle Berry who can sniff out a bad movie as good as Bruce finds the good ones.
Thanks JDB. Hudson Hawk was on the tip of my tongue too. LOL
