While watching
Public Enemies and getting lost in the love affair between John Dillinger and Billie Freshette, I was reminded of one of the greatest mysteries of life: why do girls really dig bad boys?Even the ones who don't look like Johnny Depp?

Yeah, why do guys like the overly flirtatious, ostentatious, hyperdramatic mean girls? Maybe for the excitement, for the drama, for the short-lived magic that comes with the unexpected.

When we saw this this weekend, I tried in vain to convince the girlfriend that the only thing sexier than bank robbers who look like Johnny Depp are the lawyers who represent them. She wasn't buying!
