Good Luck

I get out to the theater so rarely to see newly released movies that I have a short list of must-sees. But, The Night Listener, starring Robin Williams, is on that list. (After Clerks II and before Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby.) Robin Williams in the right role is just plain brilliant, and this role may be lightening in a bottle for him.

I'm saddened to learn that Williams has recently entered rehab for alcoholism. Good luck to him, I hope he recovers well.

Good grief.
Do you think it's coincidence that these demons always seem to rear their heads when the players have a movie coming out (or is out already)and needs some publicity?

Jackie, I have to be honest...when I read this article, my first thought was "damn...what will people not do for publicity?" Yeah, it was released this weekend...and (again, to be honest) if Tom Cruise had done this, it would have been in another "Please, Make It Stop." Cause I KNOW it would have been for the pub.

So, yeah. I'm skeptical But I always am, that's nothing new. It's a character flaw. LOL
