Flushed Away

Me: "Hey kids, are you tired of shopping for Mommy's Christmas gifts yet?"

Kids: [all together, and with looks of annoyance]: "NO !!"

Me: "Oh...Well then, wanna take a break from shopping for a while?"

Griffyn: "We just took a break for lunch."

Me: "Oh, yeah...I guess we did. Hey! I have an idea. How about we take a break to see a movie.
Flushed Away starts in 15 minutes."

Kids: [all together, arms waving excitedly] "YEAH!!"

Me: Flushed Away it is, then. Let's get the popcorn."

Kids are suckers...

Hey! What gives! Weren't you supposed to be going to see the "We Are Marshall" semi-premier down at Pullman Square this weekend?

If so then how the frack was it?

Hey Jedi: The semi-premier is Tuesday, or so I'm told. Hope to have some picturs and a story or two Wednesday. (Although I'm going to the "cheap" $25 showing at Pullman...

All right, see that you do. ;-)

BTW, "Flushed Away" was a cute film. I love Aardman and their work even though I miss the clay.

It was a fun film, that could be compared in many respects to Romancing The Stone, I thought.

I thought it was funnier that I used it as a way to get out of shopping...

Ooh, how was "Flushed Away?" It looks cute!

It was pretty good, with terrific animation and a good story. It was, really, Romancing The Stone with mice.
