The skinny: Paul Walker is an ex-con / devoted dad and husband / reformed good-guy pulled back into a life of crime by his loser of a brother. Executed for his crime, Walker's character is brought back to life and housed in a psychiatric facility, where attempts to rehabilitate him conflict with his strong desire to reconnect with his family.
The bottom line: Walker's character should have remained dead, rather than be brought back to life at the 20 minute mark. It would have made for a more interesting movie.
