The word around my water cooler this morning is that Christmas carolers will be singing outside my office in early afternoon.
Ugh...
It's not that I'm a Scrooge. Really. But standing with a frozen pretend-I'm-enjoying-this smile on my face as adults sing Frosty The Snowman while dressed in Dickens-esque costumes just gives me the creeps.
Kinda makes me feel like this:
Gotta find a place to hide.

But Film Geek, WWJD (What Would Jesco Do)? Perhaps skip out of work early to go mudboggin.
And who am I to disagree with Jesco? An excellent suggestion, Cat. And a very possible solution.
You could be "in the bathroom" for a long while until they leave.
I don't get the Huntington love of all things Charles Dickens. It's not like Charles Dickens was writing about good times, you know?
I think you need to go to Motion Masters (or whatever that costume shop on 4th is) and get you a giant Easter Bunny costume. They're like $90. When they tell you the carollers are coming, you slip into the bunny suit. The whole time they are there act as if everything is totally normal.
It might not be hilarious, but at least you know they'll be having a similar experience to the one you're having.
Oh, and LMAO at WWJescoD.
90 bucks... is that for rental or to keep. Hell, if a giant bunny suit is only 90 bucks, I'll get one to wear around the office.
90 bux and it's yours forever!
I got one for Curmy a few years ago. We go around on Easter and hide eggs for all the kids in the family, but it's an outfit that can work for any day of the year :)
Geek, you crack me up. I hope you were able to evade those creepy Dickeneque carolers. I don't think I would be able to keep a straight face for something like that.
